Nibiru and The Kolbrin Bible

The Kolbrin bible contains startling passages that describe none other than the fly-by of Nibiru itself.

From the ‘Book of Creation,’ Chapter Three.

“…It is known and the story comes down from ancient times that there was not one creation but two. A creation and a recreation. It is a fact known to the wise that the Earth was utterly destroyed once then reborn on a second wheel of creation. At the time of the great destruction of Earth God caused a [celestial] dragon from outer heaven to come and encompass her about. The dragon was frightful to behold, it lashed its tail and breathed out fire and hot coals and a great catastrophe was inflicted upon mankind. The body of the dragon [Nibiru/Planet X] was wreathed in a cold bright light and beneath on the belly was a ruddy hued glow while behind it trailed a flowing tail of smoke.

“It spewed out cinders and hot stones and its breath was fowl and stenchful poisoning the nostrils of men. Its passage caused great thundering and lightning to rend the thick darkened sky, all heaven and Earth being made hot. The seas were loosened from their cradles and rose up pouring across the land. There was an awful shrilling trumpeting which outpoured even the howling of the unleashed winds. Men stricken with terror went mad at the awful sight in the heavens.

They were loosed from their senses and dashed about crazed not knowing what they did. The breath was sucked from their bodies and they were burned with a strange ash. Then it passed leaving Earth enwrapped with a dark and glowering mantle which was ruddily lit up inside. The bowels of the Earth were torn open and great writhing upheavals and a howling whirlwind rent the mountains apart. The wrath of the sky monster [Nibiru] was loosed in the heavens. It lashed about in flaming fury roaring like a thousand thunders. It poured down fiery destruction amid a welter of THICK BLACK BLOOD [Red ash].

“So awesome was the fearfully aspected thing that the memory mercifully departed from Man. His thoughts were smothered under a cloud of forgetfulness….. in this manner the first Earth [Tiamat] was destroyed by calamity descending from the skies. Men and their dwelling places were gone. Only sky boulders and the red earth remained where once they were. But amidst all the desolation a few survived for Man is not easily destroyed but crept out of their caves and came down the mountain sides.

Their eyes were wild and their limbs trembled. Their bodies shook and their calls lacked control. Their faces were twisted and their skin hung loose on their bones. They were as maddened as wild beasts driven into an enclosure before flames. They knew no law being deprived of all the wisdom they once had and those who had guided them were gone…”

The Kolbrin Bible goes on to give us a warning of the red comet/planet’s return, named the Destroyer:

“When blood [the red ash] drops upon the Earth the DESTROYER [Nibiru] will appear and mountains will open up and belch forth fire and ashes. Trees will be destroyed and all living things engulfed. Waters will be swallowed up by the land and the seas will boil. The heavens will burn brightly and redly. There will be a copper hue over the face of the land followed by a day of darkness.

A new moon [one of the satellites of Nibiru] will appear and break up and fall. The people will scatter in madness. They will hear the trumpet and the battle cry of the DESTROYER and will seek refuge in the dens [underground bunkers] of the Earth. Terror will eat away their hearts and their courage will flow from them like water from a broken pitcher.

They will be eaten up in the flames of wrath and consumed by the breath of the DESTROYER. In those days men will have the great book before them, wisdom will be revealed. The few will be gathered for the stand. It is the hour of trial. The dauntless ones will survive. The stout-hearted will not go down in destruction…”

With passages like these I tend to put much weight in what the text has to say—a planetary encounter. Yes, I realize ancient manuscripts have certain built-in biases and exaggerations dependent upon the point of view of the author but at the same time you simply cannot just throw a precious document like this out with the bath water.

Therefore it is reasonable to suggest the Destroyer mentioned in the Kolbrin, is in fact Nibiru, the celestial Sky Monster accompanied with a red meandering comet-like serpentine tail.

Killer Cave May Have Inspired Myth of Hades

A giant cave that might have helped serve as the inspiration for the mythic ancient Greek underworld Hades once housed hundreds of people, potentially making it one of the oldest and most important prehistoric villages in Europe before it collapsed and killed everyone inside, researchers say.

The complex settlement seen in this cave suggests, along with other sites from about the same time, that early prehistoric Europe may have been more complex than previously thought.

The cave, located in southern Greece and discovered in 1958, is called Alepotrypa, which means “foxhole.”

“The legend is that in a village nearby, a guy was hunting for foxes with his dog, and the dog went into the hole and the man went after the dog and discovered the cave,” said researcher Michael Galaty, an archaeologist at Millsaps College in Jackson, Miss. “The story’s probably apocryphal — depending on who you ask in the village, they all claim it was their grandfather who found the cave.” [See Photos of Alepotrypa Cave]

A prehistoric cathedral

After its discovery, Greek officials originally saw the cave as a potential tourist attraction. However, when archaeologists realized the historical secrets it might hold, they led efforts to keep tourism from inadvertently destroying the site.

The main chamber of the cave is about 200 feet (60 meters) tall and up to about 330 feet (100 m) wide. Altogether, the cave is nearly 3,300 feet (1,000 m) long, large enough to have its own lake, in which famed explorer Jacques Cousteau once scuba-dived.

“If you’ve ever seen ‘The Lord of the Rings,’ this might make you recall the mines of Moria — the cave is really that impressive,” Galaty told LiveScience.

Excavations that have taken place at Alepotrypa since 1970 uncovered tools, pottery, obsidian and even silver and copper artifacts that date back to the Neolithic or New Stone Age, which in Greece began about 9,000 years ago.

“Alepotrypa existed right before the Bronze Age in Mycenaean Greece, so we’re kind of seeing the beginnings of things that produced the age of heroes in Greece,” Galaty said.

Cave dwellers apparently used the cavern not only as a shelter, but also as a cemetery and place of ritual.

“You have to imagine the place torchlit, filled with people lighting bonfires and burying the dead,” Galaty said. “It was quite like a prehistoric cathedral, a pilgrimage site that attracted people from all over the region and perhaps from further afield.”

Cave settlements

The cave apparently went through a series of occupations and abandonments.

“Alepotrypa was at a perfect place to intercept sea trade from Africa all the way to the eastern Mediterranean, being right at the southern tip of Greece,” Galaty said.

Settlement at the cave abruptly ended when its entrance collapsed about 5,000 years ago, perhaps due to an earthquake, burying cave dwellers alive.

“It is and was an amazing place, the closest thing we have to a Neolithic Pompeii,” Galaty said, referring to the ancient Roman town of Pompeii, which was buried when Mt. Vesuvius erupted nearly 2,000 years ago. Ash entombed and preserved Pompeii, and excavations there have given archaeologists extraordinarily detailed views of life during that time. In much the same way, the final cave collapse left everything in place in Alepotrypa, with everything inside getting a pearly mineral coating over the years.

Intriguingly, people apparently performed burials in the cave while conducting rituals that involved burning huge amounts of dung and depositing large amounts of colored and finely painted pottery.

“The burial sites and rituals that took place really do give the cave an underworld feel. It’s like Hades, complete with its own River Styx,” Galaty added, referring to the river that in Greek myth served as the boundary between the mortal realm and the netherworld. [Science Fact or Fantasy? 20 Imaginary Worlds]

Alepotrypa archaeology

For about 40 years, excavations at Alepotrypa were largely the singlehanded work of Greek archaeologist Giorgos Papathanassopoulos. In the last three years, Papathanassopoulos has reached out to other archaeologists, who have helped uncover a wealth of new insights on the site.

For instance, surveys around the cave now show there was a settlement outside. Altogether, hundreds of people may have lived at the site in its heyday, making it one of the largest, most complex known Neolithic villages in Europe.

In addition, analysis by researcher Panagiotis Karkanas at the Ephoreia of Paleoanthropology and Speleology of Southern Greece in Athens and his colleagues is confirming that rituals were conducted there regularly.

Much remains unknown about the cave. For instance, “we don’t know how much deeper deposits go. For all we know, we might have Neanderthals down there,” Galaty said. “The next bay over, you have Neanderthal artifacts in caves, so it’s hard to believe there wouldn’t be such evidence in Alepotrypa. We just haven’t dug deep enough to know.”

Chemical analysis of the pottery can also shed light on its origins.

“Giorgos Papathanassopoulos has always argued this pottery was not local to the site, but came from elsewhere — that the cave was a kind of pilgrimage site where important people were buried, leading to the fanciful idea that this was the original entrance to Hades, that it was the source of the Greek fascination with the underworld,” Galaty said.

Chemical analysis of the bones can yield similar insights. “Are people actually bringing bodies from distant locales to bury?” Galaty said.

This site, along with others in Europe, might help confirm that complex societies arose earlier than currently thought on the continent.

Papathanassopoulos, Karkanas and Galaty, along with Anastasia Papathanasiou, William Parkinson, Daniel Pullen and their colleagues, will detail this year’s findings at the annual meeting of the Archaeological Institute of America on Jan. 6 in Seattle.

Astronomers have witnessed a record-breaking blast of gas and dust flowing out of a monster black hole more than 11.5 billion light-years away.

The supermassive gravity well, with a mass of one to three billion suns, lurks at the core of a quasar—a class of extremely bright and energetic galaxies—dubbed SDSS J1106 1939. (See “Black Hole Blasts Superheated Early Universe.”)

“We discovered the most energetic quasar outflow ever seen, at least five times more powerful than any that have been observed to date,” said Nahum Arav, an astronomer at Virginia Tech and co-author of the study to be published in The Astrophysical Journal.

Using the powerful telescopes of the European Southern Observatory in Chile, Arav and his team were able to clock the speed and other properties of the outflow.

Belching out material as much as 400 times the weight of our sun every year, the blast is located nearly a thousand light-years from the quasar and has a velocity of roughly 18 million miles (29 million kilometers) per hour.

“We were hoping to see something like this, but the sheer power of this outflow still took us by surprise,” said Arav.

The central black hole in this quasar is true giant dynamo. It’s estimated to be upward of a thousand times more massive than the one in the Milky Way, producing energy at rates about a hundred times higher than the total power output of our galaxy. (See black hole pictures.)

Clues to Galaxy Evolution

Supermassive black holes are large enough to swallow our entire solar system and are notorious for ripping apart and swallowing stars. But they also power distant quasars and spew out material at high speeds.

(See “Monster Black Holes Gobble Binary Stars to Grow?”)

The outflows have been suspected to play a key role in the evolution of galaxies, explained Arav, but questions have persisted for years in the astronomical community as to whether they were powerful enough.

This newly discovered super outflow could solve major cosmic mysteries, including how the mass of a galaxy is linked to its central black hole mass and why there is a relative scarcity of large galaxies across the universe.

“I believe this is the smoking gun for several theoretical ideas that use the mechanical energy output of quasars to solve several important problems in the formation of galaxies and cluster of galaxies,” said Arav.

While Kirk Korista, an astronomer not connected to the study, believes these claims may be a bit premature, the research is expected to shed new light on the most powerful and least understood portions of typical quasar outflows.

“The superb spectroscopic data of this quasar have allowed for a breakthrough in quantifying the energetics of what is probably a typical quasar outflow,” said Korista, an astronomy professor at Western Michigan University.

“This definitely is an important step in piecing together the story of galaxy evolution, and in elucidating the role of quasars in that story.”

Mystery lights in sky spark UFO claims

Rotorua and the Bay of Plenty have been a hotbed of unusual aerial activity, with multiple sightings of strange phenomena in the region’s skies.

On Monday or Tuesday night on October 29 or 30, at least four people at the Challenge petrol station on Malfroy Rd witnessed five glowing orbs move slowly across the road toward Sunset Rd for about 30 seconds before they disappeared behind trees.

A Challenge petrol station employee, who only wanted to be known as Michelle, said she and at least three others watched the orbs, which appeared about 8pm just before dark.

“A customer came in and asked ‘can you see that?’, we were all wondering what was going on.

“They were all perfectly round with a larger orange-coloured orb leading about four smaller orbs all in a line about the same distance apart. They were moving on an angle before they disappeared behind some trees.”

Michelle said the glowing orbs were in the sky about 200m to 300m away from the service station forecourt and they watched them for about 30 seconds.

“There’s no way they were lights from a plane, they were too big and were not flashing. Our first thought was it was something military but there was no noise and they were just floating there.

“We were all a bit freaked out but we weren’t imagining things. I’m not one to sensationalise things … I was reading the paper every day to see if anyone else had seen them.”

Michelle said they all knew they had seen something strange but she had not talked about it since.

“People might think I’m a bit mad, but I was in the air force and I know what an aeroplane looks like,” she said.

In another recent sighting, a Lake Tarawera resident who wished to remain anonymous, said he photographed a bright orange orb as it slowly moved across the lake about two months ago.

The man, who lives on Spenser Rd, said he and his wife watched a colourful floating orb for about five minutes before it floated off to the right of Rainbow Mountain heading toward Tauranga.

“We saw it heading from roughly a southern position heading north low in the sky. It appeared to be a rotating ball with varying colours. It was not along any flights paths that I see airplanes on either.

“It continued going north at a steady, relatively slow speed, so I had time to get out the camera but unfortunately the picture isn’t that great.”

The man said he was left with a strange feeling he had seen something out of the ordinary.

During a number of separate sightings this month a rural Rotorua resident filmed what he described as a “blinking ufo object and big bright sphere object” as well as a “bright light ufo, strange skies ufo and fireballs”.

The man uploaded his films to the video sharing website YouTube identifying himself as horsefarmer1000.

In one of the videos there is also an obvious meteor shower at the end and satellites in the sky. But, there are some floating, flashing lights in the videos which do not look like an aeroplane or helicopter.

One of the videos has had more than 3280 views with the filming taking place on November 4 and November 8.

Horsefarmer1000 declined to be interviewed by The Daily Post but links to his films were sent to New Zealand UFO investigation organisation Ufocus NZ.

Ufocus director Suzanne Hansen said she had watched the videos but said without speaking to the person it was difficult to say what was going on.

“I did not see anything that could not be explained in conventional terms.

“If people believe they have captured a UFO on film, we are able to send it to the United States for photographic data analysis with either a physicist and optical data analyst, or a retired Nasa scientist, who assist Ufocus NZ in our work.

“We think this is a more credible way of ascertaining its veracity than posting it on YouTube.”

However, Ms Hansen said the organisation had received some very detailed sighting reports in the Rotorua/Tauranga/Kaimai area in the past year.

“In December 2011 we received a report from a small group of witnesses who observed an object, which was not an aircraft, which came to within 15m of their position and “followed” them for a couple of kilometres.

“In March of this year, we received a report from a scientist who had a similar experience at a Northland beach and who provided an identical description to that given by the December 2011 witnesses.

She said in June, a person onboard an aircraft approaching Tauranga from Rotorua saw a silver/white disc-shaped object at a low altitude above the treetops and in July a retired commercial pilot saw a large silver spherical object accompanied by two white/silver V shaped objects over Tauranga Harbour.

Ms Hansen said there had been numerous reports in the Bay of Plenty and throughout the country, of very large orange balls of light.

“It is interesting to note that when the December 2011 witnesses first sighted an anomalous light, it was a large orange orb. As it came closer they were able to see the object within this orange glow.

“At close proximity the object had “switched off” the glow and the witnesses were able to see considerable detail.”

Ms Hansen said the organisation had received more UFO sighting reports this year than in any other year.

If you have had an encounter or sighting of a UFO you can contact Ms Hansen here.

Sales of garlic are booming in western Serbia after the local council issued a public health warning that a vampire was on the loose.

The warning came after an old ruined mill said to once have been the home of the country’s most famous monster in the form of vampire Sava Savanovic collapsed.

Sava Savanovic was said to have lived in the old watermill on the Rogacica river, at Zarozje village in the municipality of Bajina Basta where he drank the blood of anybody that came to mill their grain.

The watermill was bought by the local Jagodic family, and they were too scared to use it as a mill – but discovered it was a goldmine when they started advertising for tourists to come and visit it – always during the day.

But the family were worried about carrying out building work on the mill because they were scared they might disturb the vampire or unleash his wrath if his home was messed around with – and now the property has collapsed through lack of repair.

But for locals it has sparked rumours that the vampire is now free once again.

Local mayor Miodrag Vujetic admitted: “People are worried, everybody knows the legend of this vampire and the thought that he is now homeless and looking for somewhere else and possibly other victims is terrifying people. We are all frightened.”

He added that it was all very well for people who didn’t live in the area to laugh at their fears but he said nobody in the region was in any doubt that vampires do exist.

He confirmed that the local council had advised all villagers to put garlic on their doors and windows to protect them from the vampire as it was well known they can’t stand the smell.

He added: “We have also reminded them to put a Holy cross in every room in the house.”

Villagers who cashed in catering to tourists fascinated by the legend of Sava Savanovic say they now wish they had left the place well alone.

The Philadelphia Experiment

Posted: November 24, 2012 by phaedrap1 in Conspiracy, Occult

In October 1955 “Dr.” Morris Jessup received a series of strange letters. Jessup was a 55 year-old astronomer and adventurer. Though he’d never officially received a Phd he’d written a dissertation in the field of astrophysics. Later he developed interests in jungle exploration, archaeology and “fringe” science. In that same year his book The Case for the UFOwas published in hardcover and paperback.

It was shortly after the paperback version of his work came out that the letters arrived. They were rambling, strangely worded and written with several different colors of pencil and pen. The second of these letters told Jessup about an experiment the U.S. Navy had tried in 1943. According to the writer, the Navy was trying to render a destroyer invisible by applying Einstein’s Unified Field Theory. The ship, the U.S.S. Eldridge, had indeed disappeared, the letter said, but at a terrible price to the crew: …

The “result” was complete invisibility of a ship. Destroyer type, and all of its crew, While at Sea (October. 1943) The Field Was effective in an oblate spheroidal shape, extending one hundred yards (More or Less, due to the Lunar position & Latitude) out from each beam of the ship. Any Person Within that sphere became vague in form BUT He too observed those Persons aboard that ship as though they too were of the same state, yet were walking upon nothing. Any person without that sphere could see Nothing save the clearly Defined shape of the Ships Hull in the Water, PROVIDING of course, that the person was just close enough to see yet, barely outside the field. Why tell you Now? Very Simple; If You choose to go Mad then you would reveal this information. Half of the officers & crew of that Ship are at Present, Mad as Hatters. A few, are even Yet confined to certain areas where they May receive trained Scientific aid when they either, “Go Blank” or “Go Blank” & Get Stuck.”… The Man thusly stricken can Not Move of his own volition unless two or More of those who are within the field go & touch him, quickly, else he “Freezes”.

The writer also claimed that some of the crew could walk through walls and that during the experiment the whole ship had disappeared, reappeared in Norfolk, Virginia, then returned to Philadelphia. The man claimed he had observed the experiment from a merchant ship nearby and had later read about some more of the incident in a Philadelphia newspaper. The writer had signed himself “Carl M. Allen.”

Jessup thought the letters were from a crackpot until he was visited by two men from the Office of Naval Research (ONR). The ONR had anonymously been sent a paperback copy of Jessup’s UFO book. The inside of the book had been heavily marked up with incoherent handwritten notes in various colors that made it appear that at least three different writers had been involved. Although Admiral Furth, to whom the package had been addressed, took little notice of the strange volume, Commander George Hoover, Major Darrell Ritter and Captain Sidney Sherby, all of the ONR, took a personal interest in it. They also decided to talk to Jessup to see if he could shed some light on the author of the notes.

Jessup immediately recognized the script to be in the same style as the letters. He showed the letters to the officers. The Navy men were interested in them. They took the letters and the book, and at their own expense, had a few number of copies made that were distributed to a small group of people.

The officers attempted to find this “Carl M. Allen” (who would later be identified as “Carols Miguel Allende”) but none of the return addresses on the letters or the package seemed to lead to him. Jessup, who was busy on other projects, at first lost interest in the strange correspondence, but later started investigating their unusual claims. He found out little.

In 1969, after Jessup’s death, Allende showed up at the office of the Aerial Phenomena Research Organization (APRO) in Tucson, Arizona, The APRO group is dedicated to examining UFO reports. There Allende confessed to writing the letters and the notes in the book sent to the ONR. He stated that Jessup’s book, particularly a part about invisability and force fields, had frightened him prompting him to make up the story of the ship disappearing to scare Jessup away from writing about UFOs.

So ifsAllende confession the end of the tale? Not quite. In 1979 William Moore and Charles Berlitz wrote a book called “The Philadelphia Experiment.” In the book they suggested that Allende’s confession may have been false. They also included a copy of what appeared to be a newspaper article from 1943. The book infers that the sailors mentioned in the article were suffering after effects of “The Philadelphia Experiment.” The headline read:

Strange Circumstances Surround Tavern Brawl

The article stated that during an altercation at a Philadelphia bar, two sailors disappeared into thin air. There is no date or newspaper name on the article and it does not seem to match the column size of any Philadelphia paper of that day. It was obtained when a photocopy was sent to Moore and Berlitz anonymously. Unfortunately this combination of circumstances makes it impossible to show that the article is not a hoax.

The USS Eldridge in port some years later under a different name and flag.

The Moore/Berlitz book also focused on Jessup’s death (which was a suicide) and the uncharacteristic interest of ONR in Allende’s notes. The authors suggest that this is evidence that there is some truth behind the story.

Two films were made about the alleged incident which helped to keep public interest in the story going. In 1984 the “The Philadelphia Experiment” staring Michael Pare and Nancy Allen told a much altered version of the the Moore/Berlitz book’s tale. A sequel ,”Philadelphia Experiment II,” was released in 1993.

It may not only be Allende’s letters that inspired the rumors about “The Philadelphia Experiment” (which has also been referred to as the “Rainbow Project”). During WWII the United States Navy had a program to deguass ships. This process, which entailed running cables around the circumference of the ship’s hull (bow to stern), canceled out the ship’s magnetic field. This made it undetectable (or one might say magnetically invisible) to some types of mines and torpedoes. The process had no affect on the visual appearance of the ship. The US Navy suggests that a misunderstanding of this process may have somehow been the genesis for “The Philadelphia Experiment” story.

Another possibility might be experiments the Navy carried out on the USS Timmerman during the 1950’s. A new high-frequency generator was installed. The generator produced corona discharges that seemed similar to what was described in the story when the ship supposedly disappeared.

Whatever the roots of the story might have been (Allende, deguassing or corona discharges) one thing is certain: No experiment was done in 1943 at the Philadelphia Navy Yard involving the USS Eldridge.

During that period she never stopped in Philadelphia. A fact attested to by the ship’s crew. In March of 1999 fifteen members of the crew of the USS Eldridge held a reunion in Atlantic City. They were a bit bewildered about why of all the ships in the U.S. Navy the Eldridge was chosen for this rumor. Some were getting tired of being asked about it. All denied anything like what was in the Allende story or the Moore/Berlitz book ever actually happened. Quipped former crew member Ed Tempary as he gave his comrades a smile, “The only part of the book I think is true is the part about the crew being a little crazy.”

Villagers mystified by strange animal

Posted: November 21, 2012 by phaedrap1 in News, Occult

ECCENTRIC: Louis shows a sample of the animal’s claw that has been cut into half.

SERIAN: An Indonesian plantation worker and a 75-year-old farmer got the shock of their lives when they were attacked by an unknown animal species in two separate occasions earlier this month.

The farmer, Aris Kuna of Kampung Paon Gahat, was attacked by the rare animal while attending to his pepper garden about noon. The foreigner, however, was attacked a week later at a plantation near Kpg Baing while gathering oil palm fresh fruit bunches around 9am.

The animal that attacked the duo was described as having a ‘bear and wild boar’ resemblance. Fellow workers and villagers who saw the carcass, brought by the Indonesian, could not identify the animal species.

“It’s a rare species. None of the villagers could identify it when we saw the body and pictures of it. Some even took to the Internet to find out but to no avail. Could it be one of those already considered extinct?

“In all my life venturing into the jungle, hunting and such, I’ve never come across this species,” 62-year-old Louis Nyaoi said when met at his house in Kpg Mentung Marau, some 50km from here yesterday.

His son Jimmy Tubo, 27, believed that the rare animal could have reappeared due to the opening of the nearby jungle for agriculture and other developments.

When relating the ordeal of the foreign worker, Jimmy said the Indonesian had claimed that the animal gave a strange noise, firstly sounding like a hen followed by a wild boar sound, before proceeding to attack.

The victim alleged that the animal stood up on its hind legs when charging at him. He immediately swung his sickle, killing the animal instantly.

Jimmy, who works with the Sarawak Land Consolidation and Rehabilitation Authority (Salcra) added that the animal which attacked the Indonesian measured two feet long.

The animal also spotted a long mane and sharp wolverine-like claws. Another mysterious attribute to the animal was that it gave out foul smell only hours after it was killed.

Another local expert jungle trekker and hunter Paul Hnrnp, 41, said he never smelled anything like the stench. He also said that one could smell the stench from some 10 metres away when the Indonesian brought the carcass to the plantation’s FFB pick up ram for observation by fellow workers and villagers.

On Aris’ encounter, Paul, a security guard at SK St John, Kpg Mentung Murau said his grandparents were resting at a hut after tending to their pepper crops at the time.

“My grandfather (Aris) heard an unfamiliar animal outside the hut, so he went out to check. At first, he could not see where the animal was coming from although he anticipated that danger was lurking.

RARE SPECIES: A picture of the dead animal that attacked the Indonesian worker. None of the villagers who saw the animal could identify the species.

CLOSER VIEW: The portion of the animal’s foot.

“Sensing that the animal was near, he said a prayer before starting to swing his machete numerous times to fend off as what he described as an ‘invisible’ attack. Only after he felt he had slashed something that he saw a limb of the animal’s leg on the ground. Moments later, he saw the lifeless animal.”

Aris immediately dispersed the body at the jungle. As for the one that attacked the Indonesian worker, the body was partly buried at the plantation.

Not ruling out the fact that the animal could have been an endangered species, Louis believed the actions of both men as self-defense.

Mayan ruins via AFP

France on Friday dashed the hopes of those who had planned to take refuge in one of the few places on Earth some believe will be spared when the world ends on December 21.

Local officials banned access to the Pic de Bugarach, a mountain in the southwest where rumour has it the hilltop will open on the last day and aliens will emerge with spaceships to save nearby humans.

Eric Freysselinard, the state’s top representative in the area, said he was blocking access to the mountain for public safety reasons to avoid a rush of New Age fanatics, sightseers and media crews.

Believers say the world will end on December 21, 2012, the end date of the ancient Mayan calendar, and they see Bugarach as one of a few sacred mountains sheltered from the cataclysm.

Freysselinard said the 100 police and firefighters he plans to deploy will also control approaches to the tiny village of the same name at the foot of the mountain, and if too many people turn up, they will block access there too.

“We are expecting a few visionaries, a few people who believe in this end of the world, but in extremely limited numbers,” he said in the nearby city of Carcassonne.

“We are expecting greater numbers of people who are just curious, but in numbers we cannot determine. Above all, we are expecting lots of journalists,” he said.

Films, documentaries and websites have promoted the idea that the ancient Mayan calendar predicts that doomsday is on December 21.

The culture ministry in Guatemala — where half the population are of Mayan descent — is hosting a massive event in the capital just in case the world actually does end, while tour groups are promoting doomsday-themed getaways.

But the country’s Maya alliance Oxlaljuj Ajpop accuses the government and tour groups of perpetuating the myth that their calendar foresees the imminent end of the world for monetary gain.

It issued a statement last month saying that the new Maya time cycle simply “means there will be big changes on the personal, family and community level, so that there is harmony and balance between mankind and nature.”

Animal behavior research suggests that animals have moral emotions. One study found that rhesus monkeys will forgo food if they had to push a lever that would electrically shock their companions to get it.

Does Mr. Whiskers really love you or is he just angling for treats?

Until recently, scientists would have said your cat was snuggling up to you only as a means to get tasty treats. But many animals have a moral compass, and feel emotions such as love, grief, outrage and empathy, a new book argues.

The book, “Can Animals Be Moral?” (Oxford University Press, October 2012), suggests social mammals such as rats, dogs and chimpanzees can choose to be good or bad. And because they have morality, we have moral obligations to them, said author Mark Rowlands, a University of Miami philosopher.

“Animals are owed a certain kind of respect that they wouldn’t be owed if they couldn’t act morally,” Rowlands told LiveScience.

But while some animals have complex emotions, they don’t necessarily have true morality, other researchers argue. [5 Animals With a Moral Compass]

Moral behavior?

Some research suggests animals have a sense of outrage when social codes are violated. Chimpanzees may punish other chimps for violating certain rules of the social order, said Marc Bekoff, an evolutionary biologist at the University of Colorado, Boulder, and co-author of “Wild Justice: The Moral Lives of Animals” (University Of Chicago Press, 2012).

Male bluebirds that catch their female partners stepping out may beat the female, said Hal Herzog, a psychologist at Western Carolina University who studies how humans think about animals.

And there are many examples of animals demonstrating ostensibly compassionate or empathetic behaviors toward other animals, including humans. In one experiment, hungry rhesus monkeys refused to electrically shock their fellow monkeys, even when it meant getting food for themselves. In another study, a female gorilla named Binti Jua rescued an unconscious 3-year-old (human) boy who had fallen into her enclosure at the Brookline Zoo in Illinois, protecting the child from other gorillas and even calling for human help. And when a car hit and injured a dog on a busy Chilean freeway several years ago, its canine compatriot dodged traffic, risking its life to drag the unconscious dog to safety.

All those examples suggest that animals have some sense of right and wrong, Rowlands said.

“I think what’s at the heart of following morality is the emotions,” Rowlands said. “Evidence suggests that animals can act on those sorts of emotions.”

Instinct, not morals?

Not everyone agrees these behaviors equal morality, however.

One of the most obvious examples — the guilty look of a dog that has just eaten a forbidden food — may not be true remorse, but simply the dog responding appropriately to its owner’s disappointment, according to a study published in the journal Behavioural Processes in 2009.

And animals don’t seem to develop or follow rules that serve no purpose for them or their species, suggesting they don’t reason about morality.

Humans, in contrast, have a grab bag of moral taboos, such as prohibitions on eating certain foods, committing blasphemy, or marrying distant cousins.

“What I think is interesting about human morality is that often times there’s this wacky, arbitrary feature of it,” Herzog said.

Instead, animal emotions may be rooted in instinct and hard-wiring, rather than conscious choice, Herzog said.

“They look to us like moral behaviors, but they’re not rooted in the same mire of intellect and culture and language that human morality is,” he said.

Hard-wired morality

But Rowlands argues that such hair-splitting is over thinking things.

In the case of the child-rescuing gorilla Binti Jua, for instance, “what sort of instinct is involved there? Do gorillas have an instinct to help unconscious boys in enclosures?” he said.

And even if instinct is involved, human parents have an instinctive desire to help their children, but that makes the desire no less moral, he said.

Being able to reason about morality isn’t required to have a moral compass, he added. A 3-year-old child, for instance, may not consciously articulate a system of right and wrong, but will (hopefully) still feel guilty for stealing his playmate’s toy. (Scientists continue to debate whether or not babies have moral compasses.)

If one accepts that animals have moral compasses, Rowlands argues, we have the responsibility to treat them with respect, Rowlands said.

“If the animal is capable of acting morally, I don’t think it’s problematic to be friends with your pets,” he said. “If you have a cat or a dog and you make it do tricks, I am not sure that’s respect. If you insist on dressing them up, I’m not sure I’m onboard with that either.”

Star Fire

Laurence Gardner is his excellent book, Genesis of the Grail Kings [Bantam Books, New York, 1999] asks the reason for Genesis 9:4: “But flesh with the life thereof, which is the blood thereof, shall ye not eat.”  Why, for example, would Jehovah oppose the intake of blood, while allowing his worshipers to eat flesh (which ultimately, of course, contains a certain amount of blood)?  What would be the appeal of eating blood, if not due to some religious or philosophical belief?  Better yet, why bother to specifically dictate a law — early in Genesis — that forbid the practice?

With regards to the Star Fire (as well as the ORME, ORMUS, White Powder of Gold, Philosopher’s Stone, Elixir of Life, Food of the Gods, the Ark of the Covenant, Alchemy, Secrets, Transmutation, Biological and otherwise, and, of course, giving my regards to Broadway), there is a new kid on the block, a new development that really must be noted. It is The Book of Aquarius, a delightful treatise on The Great Work of Alchemy.

Halexandria gets a LOT of questions on these subjects involving where do I get it, how do I make it, whose stuff is better, and is this the Way to San Jose? Suffice it to say, no discussion of the The Great Work is really going to be complete without a pit stop at this link. In terms of the Star Fire, the possibilities are even more intriguing than the mere extension of longevity into centuries, the creation of life, and so forth and so on.

One possible answer involves the apparent longevity of the Anunnaki race.  Their long lives were consistently and explicitly related to the ingestion of blood.  The very idea of taking in blood was, of course, carried forward in everything from the blood sacrifices of the Aztecs to the American Indian eating of the blood of the American Buffalo.  There were often reasons for each of these practices, but not necessarily convincing ones.  More likely is the rationale that these later practices were rituals gone astray, once the real reason for the practice was lost to the practitioners.

From the viewpoint of ancient civilizations, primarily Sumerian and Egyptian, a substance called Star Fire was considered to be nothing less than the life-giving extract from the divine menstrual blood of the Goddess.  In its original form, Star Fire was the lunar (menstrual) essence of one of the fourteen birth Goddesses.  But even in the mundane, menstruum contains the most valuable endocrinal secretions of the pineal and pituitary glands. The Oxford English Dictionary even goes so far as to describe the menstrual action as “an alchemical parallel with the transmutation into gold.”  [emphasis added]

The latter really has to grab your attention!  To make the point, an earlier dictionary (prior to certain meanings being edited out of the text), The American Heritage Dictionary of the English Language defines menstruum as: “A solvent, especially one used in extracting and preparing drugs. [Middle English, from Medieval Latin menstruum, solvent, originally ‘menstrual blood’ (alchemists regarded the gold-transmuting solvent as similar to menstrual blood, which they believed transformed sperm in the womb into an embryo)].”

In ancient Egypt and other parts of the Mediterranean, menstruum was ritually collected from priestesses, known as the Scarlet Women.  These women were known in the original as “beloved ones”, and via various translations, as “whores”. (But these women were never considered to be prostitutes or adulteresses — the contrary interpretation being a contrived strategy of the Roman Church in their bid to denigrate the Scarlet Women.)

Originally, the earliest patriarchs were apparently weaned on the menstrual blood of the Goddesses (aka Scarlet Women), in order to ensure their longevity and abilities.  But then, at the time of the flood, things changed.  The edict of Genesis 9:4 came into play.  But  like most such edicts, it’s always good to know the source — and thus hints of perhaps the why of such an edict being issued.  [pardon the pun]

The Genesis 9:4 edict to abstain from blood came from Jehovah, aka the Sumerian Enlil.  This is the same god of vengeance who deceived Adam and Eve by forbidding to them the fruit of the Tree of Knowledge, the same god who was willing to let the human race drown in the Flood and Deluge (and who Biblically, was the instigator of both), and in general, the god who demonstrated a distinct dislike and/or disregard for human beings.  If Enlil forbade the intake of blood, it was likely an attempt on his part to deny Noah and his descendants something that might be to their distinct benefit.

Note for example that the lifetimes of The Adam’s Family took a quantum leap in shorter lifetimes, beginning with Noah.  This was when the Star Fire, the “blood thereof”, became a restricted substance.

If the Star Fire was the key element in the long lives of the patriarchal line from Adam to Noah, and to a lesser extent from Noah to Abraham —  then the variations in their long lives should be understood.  The Sumerian king lists also showed a notable difference in the lifetimes of kings between the pre-Flood and post-Flood periods.  This is because they were also the recipients of the Star Fire.  The same applies to the same individuals with different names from different cultures.  Keep in mind that kingship was perceived as being “lowered from heaven”, i.e. of Anunnaki origin, and it is without question that they differed necessarily and in essence from other men — the fundamental difference being the royal access to Star Fire.

It is also worth noting that the lifetimes of the pre-flood Sumerian kings were substantially longer than the patriarchal line from Adam to Noah.  And yet, there is evidence to suggest that the patriarchs and Sumerian kings were one and the same.  Certainly, Abraham hailed from the Sumerian city of Ur (of the Chaldees).  His family was in all aspects, Sumerian.  The point is that the Biblical life times of almost a thousand years for the Adam’s Family may be understating the case.  According to Zecharia Sitchin, their lifetimes may have been more on the order of tens of thousands of years, or even more!  Sitchin also extends the dating of the Flood and Deluge back to 11,500 B.C.E. (vice the more traditional date of circa 4000 B.C.E.).  The effect of this is that even Noah’s descendants up until the time of Abraham were living hundreds, if not thousands, of years!

Unquestionably, the time of Noah and the Flood saw a drastic change in patriarchal life times.  This would suggest a gradual, quantum style reduction in the availability of the Star Fire to Noah’s descendants.  A quick review of The Adam’s Family, for example, shows that while Noah kept up the family tradition by making it to 950 years of age, his son, Shem managed only 600 years, while the next three generations (Arphaxad Salah, and Eber) all lived less than half of Noah’s time.  These three also outlived, according to the Biblical account, all of the next five generations!  The next six generations were living half the time of their immediate ancestors, and one fourth that of Noah.  This is not typical genetics!  It suggests, instead, a step wise reduction in proper nourishment, specifically, a denial of the life giving properties of the Goddess menstrual blood, the Star Fire.

Around 2000 B.C.E., another major shift in the Star Fire practice was instituted.  This time corresponds to the beginning of the fall of the Sumerian Civilization, when the overthrow of their city forced Terah, his son Abraham, and their families to migrate from Ur to Haran.  Very significantly, the Anunnaki departed as well!  According to a Sumerian text: “The gods have abandoned us like migrating birds.  Smoke lies on our cities like a shroud.”

With the Anunnaki no longer in residence in Sumeria, with Marduk of Babylonia being established as the supreme Anunnaki deity on Earth, Enlil and his gang were stepping away from the overt control of the human race.  And with their departure, came the departure of one of the fringe benefits they had previously provided:  The Star Fire.  After human generations of weaning the patriarchs off the Star Fire, suddenly our guys were forced to go cold Turkey.

But being entrepreneurs, they were not to be denied entirely.  Since the Anunnaki Star Fire was no longer available, a substitute would have to be found.  The new “improved” product thereafter came from the master craftsmen, the metallurgists of Tubal-cain.  It was called the ORME.

In fact, for the purposes of longevity, the ORME might have become an alternative to the Star Fire even earlier, perhaps as early as the time of Noah — which would also explain the decrease in life times.  At the earlier dates, the Star Fire may have been used in conjunction with the ORME.  But in the later ages, the original nectar of the gods was no longer available, and an artificial life-sweetener was necessary.

The ORME is also connected with Superconductivity and other physical phenomenon, including potentially Levitation.  The latter is particularly important in that Mount Horeb may have been an ORME production facility, and the White Powder of Gold generated there being used to move into place the massive stones of The Great Pyramids of Giza.  A particular relevant discussion is a discussion by Barry Carter and others now located at Halexandria Forums.
